Ahmed is the creator of a literary venue called THE ALIGNIST and a reporter with the NPR station, Michigan Public.  Previously, she has been a Spencer Fellow at Columbia University, a Kroc Fellow at NPR, and a Fulbright Scholar to Cambridge University.
