Gail Parrish
Gail Parrish is an award-winning playwright whose plays have been produced at theaters around the U.S. and internationally. She studied playwriting at Howard University and continued to write while obtaining a master’s degree in urban planning. The historical and personal damages caused by racism and the search for racial justice and healing are major themes throughout Parrish’s work and reflect her lifelong passion as a writer, as well as her career as a director of race relations and racial justice organizations.
