Brittany Rogers
Brittany Rogers is a poet, writer, educator, and lifelong Detroiter. As an Eastsider, she learned to prioritize beauty, honor community, document truth, and to be audacious; her craft mirrors this foundation. Her work has been published in Underbelly, Mississippi Review, The Detroit Metro Times, The Offing, Obsidian, and Oprah Daily. Brittany is a fellow of Voices of Our Nations Arts Foundation (VONA), The Watering Hole, the Poetry Foundation’s Poetry Incubator, and Pink Door Writing Retreat. She is editor-in-chief of Muzzle Magazine and co-host of the VS podcast. In 2022, Rogers received her MFA in poetry from Randolph College, where she was a Blackburn Fellow.
