Galaxy

Galaxy was born on Detroit’s Westside and graduated from Northwestern High School. She then attended Eastern Michigan University, joining a group called “the poetry society,” where she fell in love with spoken word. Since graduating, Galaxy has performed at venues across Michigan and competed in poetry slams around the country. Recently, she has become a poetry educator. She feels honored to teach the youth how to become poets, how to use their words for healing, and how their words can shape the future.
