Laith Karmo

Laith Karmo was born in Detroit, Michigan in 1980 and raised in the Metro Detroit area. He received his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in 2004 from the College for Creative Studies in Detroit, and his Master of Fine Arts from Cranbrook Academy of Art in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan in 2006. He has taught at Wayne State University in Detroit, Oakland Community College in Auburn Hills, and the College for Creative Studies. Karmo maintains a healthy studio practice in his Pontiac, Michigan studio.
