Malak Cherri

Malak Cherri is a Michigan-based painter born in Beirut, Lebanon. In 2006, she completed a master’s degree, with honors, in translation from the Holy Spirit University of Kaslik, Lebanon, which kickstarted her interest in different cultures. In 2018, Cherri began her artistic journey through classes at Henry Ford College to further learn the nuances of painting. Her artistic career began with the honorable mention at the LAND Conference in 2021; since then, Cherri has received high rankings in a variety of competitions.
