Miranda Kyle is a watercolor painter who also dabbles in creating murals. She mainly focuses on people of color within her art. She was born and raised in Detroit, and obtained a BFA in illustration, with a minor in art history, from the College for Creative Studies in 2021. Kyle enjoys the idea of her art being individual pieces, all while being able to create different stories with each painting coming together. It brings all of her ideas and inspirations from herself and others into a single perspective, constantly forming new narratives depending on the showing. Each painting is a piece of someone’s stories, collaged together like a puzzle or refrigerator magnets.
