Edward Salem
Edward Salem is a Palestinian American writer and the author of Monk Fruit (Nightboat Books, 2025). His writing appears in Poetry, The Kenyon Review, Narrative, BOMB, Prairie Schooner, and elsewhere. He is the co-founder of City of Asylum/Detroit, a nonprofit that provides safe-haven fellowships to writers and artists who are in exile under threat of persecution.
