Erin K. Schmidt

Erin K. Schmidt is an artist who creates quiet, evocative spaces within her handbound and sculptural book art. She earned her BFA from Michigan State University in 1999. In 2010 she earned her MA in book arts from Camberwell College of Arts, University of the Arts, London. She was awarded the Sheffield International Artist’s Book Prize and her work was published on the cover of The New Bookbinder, Journal of Designer Bookbinders. Her work has been exhibited internationally and can be found in private and public collections including Tate Britain.
