Morgan Mann Willis
Morgan Mann Willis’ writing is a summation, an exploration. It tries to understand people better. It loves corner legends and small places. After nearly 12 years of living and leading community work in Detroit, Willis’ creative furnace is fueled by her life on the Eastside—real exchanges, random artifacts, collective memories, and literal intersections. Willis’ writing spans genres—scripts, curriculums, stories, zines, children’s books. In 2021, she made her nonfiction debut in the Los Angeles Review. Writing notwithstanding, what Morgan probably wants most at this exact second is to be camping with her fiancé in Idlewild.
