Sioux Trujillo

Sioux Trujillo received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from College for Creative Studies, Detroit. She has worked in the Detroit art community for 11 years as an artist and administrator. Trujillo is the Associate Director of community+public arts:DETROIT at the College for Creative Studies. She has received awards for her mixed media works from Burren College of Art, College for Creative Studies, as well as a Michigan Educational Grant. She has exhibited locally and internationally, including at the Pioneer Building, Detroit, Susanne Hilberry Gallery, Ferndale, MI; Museum of Contemporary Art Detroit, Muria Art Gallery, Kinvara, Ireland; the Burren College of Art Gallery, Ballyvaughan, Ireland; Pont-Aven, France; and Taller Galleria Fort, Barcelona, Spain.
