INK
Born on September 28, 1998, at Sinai Hospital in Detroit, MI, the sounds of Motown were embedded in INK. Coming up on the westside of Detroit, music and creative freedom were prevalent in his household. His father, who played artists such as Jay Z, Tupac, Eminem, Kanye West, and others, introduced him to hip-hop as an adolescent. The main musician who transformed INK as an artist was James Yancey (J Dilla). INK’s introduction into instrumentation was in the art of playing percussion. These things help INK with the process of making his own hip-hop and R&B compositions.
