Brandyn “SKilz” Burton

Brandyn” SKilz” Burton is a performing artist from Detroit. He has trained in many forms of art including vocal music, acting, and poetry, but his heart is in dance. Burton is a professional and versatile dancer, teacher, and choreographer who uses movement as a form of communication. He has danced and trained with numerous companies and programs throughout Michigan and the Midwest and received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance Theatre Performance from Marygrove College. In 2010, he founded Epiphany Dance Company/SKilled Productions which has allowed him to further serve as an advocate for arts in metro Detroit. He travels around the country teaching his students that the principles of dance are synonymous to the principles of life. He has set multi award-winning choreography around Michigan and surrounding states and has been recognized internationally for his work with Detroit’s own STARS Elite Training Center where he currently co-directs.
