Detroit Bureau of Sound

Zac Bru is a cactus soloist, composer, and avid promoter of the future of music. He is best known by the name Detroit Bureau of Sound and has gained a reputation for mixing a variety of styles—including classical, Baroque, 20th century experimentalism, noise, and techno—into his compositions. Producing large-scale musical events has been a pivotal part of his work for the past decade; Bru has appeared in venues of all types including the Detroit Institute of Arts, Michigan Science Center, Red Bull Arts in Detroit, and the The Eli and Edythe Broad Art Museum (East Lansing, MI).
