Emily Rogers

Born and creatively cultivated in Detroit, Emily Rogers’ affinity for music, art, and dance was inherent. Her formal training began with her first instrument, the oboe. An intense love affair with dance followed, but when Emily picked up the bass, she found her musical soulmate. Her musicianship grew. As a developing bass player, she constantly wrote songs and formed a number of bands. Emily has an extensive and eclectic catalog of music, projects, bands, concepts, performances, and experiences. Music and dance have given her the opportunity to record and travel the world as an artist.
