Get the first look at the newest short films celebrating Kresge Arts in Detroit’s latest cohort of award-winning artists! Spotlight Detroit, the acclaimed film series, returns to Detroit PBS this March. The films highlight the 2025 Kresge Eminent Artist, Marion Hayden, and the 2024 Kresge Artist Fellows in Live Arts, Film, and Music.
Spotlight Detroit is a creative collaboration between artists recognized with Kresge Arts in Detroit awards and metro Detroit filmmakers. Each participating artist partnered with a local filmmaker to create a unique short film that showcases their artistic practice. This year’s series features 25 films, each running between two and four minutes.
