DAAY

DAAY was raised on Detroit’s eastside and began playing piano at the age of four. At 17, DAAY moved to England to pursue her bachelor’s degree in popular music at Falmouth University. While in school, she participated in a study abroad program at ArteZ in the Netherlands, during which she studied jazz voice and pursued an internship at a local studio. At university, DAAY began her practice in music production and sound art. In 2018, she moved back to Detroit and released her first EP, “October,” as a singer-songwriter. In 2021, DAAY debuted her first sound art installation.
